BEAUTY PREP ( PhotoShoot) CHECKLIST
Welcome to Priceless Beauty! We want to make sure you're fully prepared and feeling your best for your upcoming branding photo shoot.
Here's a checklist to guide you through the process:
MAKEUP
Make sure your skin is clean and hydrated before coming in.
Remove any leftover makeup, especially around the eye area.
Wear something comfortable and easy to open at the front, like a robe, button-up, or zip-up shirt.
Send us an inspirational image of the makeup you desire, along with a photo of yourself.
Remember, we will adjust the makeup to enhance your features.
We can provide false lashes if you'd like. They're highly recommended for on-camera looks.
If your artist won't be staying on location for touch-ups, please bring your own powder and lip product to keep your look fresh.
THINGS TO CONSIDER
After your makeup is done, try to avoid touching your face to maintain its longevity.
Avoid using products with SPF, as they can cause unwanted glare on the camera.
If you want an even skin tone and a lovely glow, consider getting a natural spray tan. Feel free to ask us for more details.
HAIR
Wash and blow-dry your hair the day before the shoot.
Use minimal or no conditioner. If you must use it, apply sparingly from midshaft down.
Avoid using styling cream or oils, as our stylists will use the appropriate products for your hair texture and desired outcome.
If you're planning to have clip-in extensions, please let us know in advance so we can allocate extra time for installation.
Make sure your clip-in extensions are made of 100% human hair and in good condition. Wash, air-dry, and brush them before your appointment. Also, trim them to match your hair length.
Avoid tight ponytails or braids before your appointment to prevent kinks or creases.
Brush your hair and make sure it's tangle-free before your styling session.
If you have any specific hair requests or concerns, please inform us in advance.
Send us an inspirational image of the hairstyle you desire, along with a photo of your current hair.
If you have naturally curly hair, please send us a photo of it in its natural state.
Let us know if you prefer to work with your natural hair pattern or if you'd like a looser, smoother, or straightened style.
If you choose to work with your natural curl pattern, prepare it as usual by using styling cream or mousse. Keep in mind that hot tools may be used to create a smoother and more polished curl to minimize frizz on camera.
THINGS TO CONSIDER
If you'll have multiple looks, our stylist will recommend the order to ensure quick and seamless transitions.
Consider using a clarifying shampoo before the event to remove buildup in your hair. This will give it more body and help the style hold better. We have this shampoo available for pre-purchase at our studio.
Many Pinterest inspirations feature extensions, so if you want a fuller and more voluminous look, consider getting them. Feel free to ask us for more details.
