Common concerns
Will I be orange?
Bad experience tanned in a booth? Don’t fear your spray tan with us. This is a custom application done by a trained spray tan professional.
We recommend starting with a lighter color and ensuring that you rinse at an optimal time as recommended by our team.
I am really fair We have options for ALL skins tones which look natural!
How long will it last? The best tan shows up day two to five. It should be fully off the skin by about a week.
Nails We recommend getting nails done before your spray tan. We will protect them from tanning product.
How often can I tan? You can tan every seven to 10 days. Ideally your tan should be fully exfoliated off before the next session. We can provide exfoliation and remover products if you need a fresh tan sooner than this.
I’m wearing white - will it come off on my outfit/dress? We do have a clear solution and low bronzer options available. As long as your skin was prepped properly, any topical bronzer (once rinsed off) will not transfer onto your clothes.
Developing time Spray tans typically take 24 hours to fully develop. During the setting time the product is more sensitive you should not have exccisve sweating or have skin exposed to water. Setting times ranges based on colour choice and solution, which could be anywhere between two and 12 hours. Your artist will help you choose the right option for you.
Sleeping with a fresh tan We will provide you with additional instruction to best protect the tan and your bedsheets at the time of your appointment. Just let us know!
I have sensitive skin/ allergies If you have skin conditions or allergies, it’s best to perform a patch test before spray tanning. We can also provide you with a list of ingredients in our solutions before your appointment.
Sun burn It is not recommended to get a spray tan if you have a severe natural or tanning bed sunburn. If your skin is damaged or the tan is peeling, the spray tan over will just make it appear worse.
Working out with a tan Ideally wait 24 hours after appointment. Ask about our workout ready solution and tips to avoid tan fading prematurely.
Pregnant You should consult with doctor before booking your spray tan.
Vacation spray tan
YES you can still get a real tan with a spray tan!
Treat skin as if you don’t have one protecting yourself against harmful damage of UV—use a spray tan safe SPF.
Salt water and chlorine can speed up the fading of your spray tan.
